Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, chilli powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well to combine.
  • Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours for more intense flavor.
