Ingredients:

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (King’s Hawaiian rolls recommended)

  • 12 slices of deli ham

  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Add Ham and Cheese: Layer the ham slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, followed by the Swiss cheese slices. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  • Make the Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Whisk until well blended.
  • Pour the Sauce: Pour the sauce evenly over the tops of the sandwiches, making sure they are all covered.
  • Bake the Sandwiches: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
