1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions
- Prepare the Hot Plate:
- Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle on high until it’s hot. Alternatively, use an electric hot plate for an authentic experience.

- Add the corn and half of the chopped green onions around the beef.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the beef starts to brown.
- Add the Rice and Sauces:
- Push the beef, corn, and green onions to the sides of the skillet. Add the cooked rice in the centre.
- Top the rice with the garlic butter and drizzle the soy sauce over the entire dish.
- Mix and Serve:
- Stir everything together, ensuring the beef, corn, and green onions are well combined with the rice and sauce. Sprinkle the remaining black pepper and green onions on top.
- Serve immediately on the hot skillet for a sizzling presentation, or transfer to plates if preferred.
