1 lb (450g) fresh salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into chunks

1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
3 celery stalks, sliced
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
4 cups (1 liter) fish or vegetable broth
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup (150g) frozen peas
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
