Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  • Melt Butter and Oil: In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil and stir to combine.
  • Cook Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add Spices: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, Old Bay seasoning, lemon pepper seasoning, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent the spices from burning.
  • Add Lemon Juice: Pour in the fresh lemon juice and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to meld together.
  • Finish and Serve: Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve the sauce hot, drizzling it over your seafood boil or using it as a dipping sauce.
