Ingredients:

  • For the pizza:
  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 packet of taco seasoning

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans

  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup diced red onion

  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños

  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Salsa for drizzling

  • Sour cream for topping

  • For the optional toppings:
  • Sliced avocado

  • Chopped lettuce

  • Hot sauce

Instructions:

  • Prepare the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
  • Heat the refried beans: In a small saucepan, heat the refried beans over low heat until warm and spreadable.
  • Assemble the pizzas: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the tortillas on a baking sheet. Spread a layer of refried beans over each tortilla, followed by a layer of seasoned ground beef. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Bake the pizzas: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
